Everyone lives for some or all their lives in some kind of a family. Many families rise to the challenges and complexity of life. They flourish without extra help.
But it is not a surprise that some may find life difficult. That's when outside help may be useful.
Family Therapists are specially trained and experienced counselling professionals. But there are not many around in Scotland yet.
So it can be hard to find Family Therapy services - especially ones that are available to self-referral.
This website briefly tells you about the Edinburgh based Family Therapy team who work in Couple Counselling Lothian in the city centre of Edinburgh. For information about what it costs click here.

Vimeo gives details of the students who created these super videos in a collaboration between AFT and the University of Brighton using the words of young people and families who've experienced Family Therapy.
