What is Family Therapy?

Family Therapy is counselling for people of all ages with family concerns.

A Family Therapist draws on a wide range of approaches to help any particular family and their worries.

Concerns may be about individual family members, or their relationships.

Worries may be to do with conflict, family breakdown, general parenting, stepfamily, or extended family issues.

Family Therapy interviews can be with one, some, or all family members.

Meetings are arranged flexibly to suit each family's wishes and needs.

One session may help or be all that is needed. Or a few further - typically fortnightly - appointments may be best.
